River House Belfast gave local business leaders an opportunity to see first-hand what the 80,000 sq ft Grade A office and retail development has to offer, after hosting a special preview event. Its top floor provided an ideal space to showcase the breath-taking panoramic views businesses can experience and to demonstrate the high specification finish planned for the building.
Located in the heart of the city in Belfast’s cultural hub, the building, owned by London-based developer Castleforge Partners, is currently undergoing an extensive refurbishment project. On completion it will have the ability to house over 1,000 staff with suites available from 800 sq ft up to a whole floorplate of 6,000 sq ft.
The preview event was an opportunity for Castleforge to give more details on the building and to let people see its huge potential. Entertainment and food was provided by local suppliers – reflecting the vision Castleforge has for the building. It wants to provide the hothouse ability to help locally owned companies grow and flourish. Professional boxer Carl Frampton was also at the launch event and added his weight behind the building’s competitive package.
Along with its stunning views and excellent natural light, the building will boast an impressive new double-height reception area with numerous entrances, multiple high-speed data networks, highly efficient office layout options, social and breakout zones and abundant onsite car parking. The building also benefits from a new air conditioning system, new high-speed passenger lifts, plus generous bike storage and shower facilities. Its location in the city centre means there is a wealth of public transport links in close proximity.
Due for completion in October, Rachael Pittaway, Developer at Castleforge Partners says: “River House is at the forefront of the business evolution in Belfast and represents a new wave of office and commercial space in the City Centre. We believe there is nothing that matches our offering and River House is the ideal space for any progressive organisation.
“Belfast is a fascinating combination of diverse building types and spaces mixed with growing social, food and creative sectors. Influenced by these surroundings and inspired by the city’s sustained economic growth, we have designed River House to be a modern, state-of-the-art development for forward-thinking and innovative companies. It is a creative space that will evolve with the businesses it houses, and will help them to attract and retain the best staff Belfast has to offer.
“Interest in the building has been overwhelming. From the initial unveiling of our plans to seeing it transform into that vision, more and more businesses want to be part of this exciting new chapter.”
